Louis Zamperini was a lieutenant in world war 2, but his plane crashed an a search and rescue mission. He then spent 47 daus adrift until he washed up on the marshall islands. He was then captured and put in a Japenese POW camp until the war ended in 1945.

When I was a kid I was at a convience store and I brought a handful of candy that I new I could afford with 10 dollars. When i got to the counter he rang them through and my total was around 6 dollars. So I paid him and left but when I got outside I realized he didn't charge me for 2 things. I decided to continue on my way without going and telling him. I don't regret it because I got free candy out of it.

In my opinion i think they should have scavenged parts from both parts of the fusalage to try and make their position more noticable. In the begining there were crews looking for them so if they could have brought more materials that weren't white planes would have had a better chance of seeing them from the air.

In the case of the elevator story I agree that he had a tramatic event but I think he overreacted. If i was in his position I would have done things differently. Like I would have asked for a raise. Also a radio or walkie talkie to have so I could always have contact to people if It happened again. Since he took them to court he lost his jod and didn't get anywhere near the amount you would need to live comfortly for the rest of your life.

I think tim was a nut job for putting himself in danger thinking that he could control a wild animal, exspecially a grizzly bear.

If I was in eric's place i'm not sure what i would have done since it would be a in the moment thing. I would have tried to help, it is a really interesting senario because you would either fight, flight, or freeze. Which all happened, I hope it would have gone the same way but it still would be a human with a little knife against a hungary polar bear
